So much for transparency…

In Delhi, after the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) reported scams worth 20 crore rupees in construction projects for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, the Delhi Chief Minister has passed a “gag order” on her colleagues in the cabinet to keep the dirty secrets from coming out. And undoubtedly Mani Shankar Iyer will be getting some very uncomfortable calls soon.

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, the Maharashtra Chief Ministers is getting the “intelligence unit” to make a list of “moles” in MMRDA who are passing information on to the Opposition about the scams that the government is overlooking. Reading news is depressing, at times.

Is it so difficult to comprehend the right from the wrong? Its really depressing! I sometimes dream of building a batch of upright people and dispatching them in various sectors of the government and industries. No one alone can change the system that has become so corrupt but if upright people come at the right posts all at the same time and continue for even a small period such as 5 years, I truely think it will lead to a domino effect of uprightness !!!

I wish my dream comes true! I wish I see a way of doing that!
